Pre-Engineering Academy

The Pre-Engineering Academy at Beulah Middle School introduces students to the world of engineering through hands-on design, technology, and problem-solving. Students learn how engineers think by identifying problems, designing solutions, and testing their ideas through real-world projects.

The program explores areas such as robotics, coding, computer-aided design (CAD), structural design, and simple machines, helping students build creativity, technical skills, and confidence while discovering potential STEM career pathways.

What makes it unique?

  • Hands-on and project-based learning
  • Real-world engineering and technology skills
  • Exploration of STEM and engineering careers
  • Team-based collaboration and innovation
  • Creative expression through design and building
  • Problem-solving through engineering challenges
  • Opportunities for student-led projects

What do students do?

Students participate in design-and-build projects, robotics programming, and STEM experiments that teach engineering principles. Through collaboration and challenges, students design, build, code, test, and present their ideas, developing the mindset and skills of young engineers.
